The Glowing Body Teacher Training

Bringing Yoga to Everyone…

…by training knowledgeable, compassionate and enthusiastic teachers and practitioners eager to share Yoga in the world.

General Information

The Glowing Body is proud to offer Teacher Trainings in two formats -  an Intensive and an Integrative program.  Both are designed to deepen your personal connection to the practice of yoga and empower you to share this knowledge with others in a variety of ways.  The training will allow you to explore the vast scope of Yoga on a level of personal commitment and study.  We will unfold many aspects of the science and philosophy of this ancient practice through physical discipline, self inquiry, meditative process, and action in the world.  At the completion of GBTT, we intend for you to feel confident and prepared for the life-long practice of yoga and inspired to share it with the world.  Our program will include a strong foundation in yoga asana technique and teaching methodology, as well as an exploration of the pillars of yogic philosophy, service and experiential technique.

For dates and more detailed information for each training format, application materials, and payment options, please check our Integrative and Intensive pages.

GBTT Director

Kelly Golden (ERYT) has been a student and practitioner of yoga for over fifteen years, and through the exploration of the physical and philosophical practices, yoga has touched every aspect of her life in a positive way. She has been teaching and sharing yoga for over seven years, infusing her teaching with the passion  and joy that she has for the practice of yoga, both on and off the mat.  In asana practice, Kelly pays close attention to the work of the body (anatomy and physiology), as well as the more subtle work of the mind and spirit as embodied by the individual student.  In her sharing of yoga, she strives to inspire in others the peace, well being, balance, harmony, and understanding that yoga has brought to her own life. Kelly is currently working toward her 500 hour Para Yoga teaching certification.  She teaches weekly classes in Boone, NC, co-directs Neighborhood Yoga Teacher Training, writes for Yoga Basics, leads yoga retreats all over the world, and is the mother of two beautiful daughters.
