Establishing Mindfulness with John Blackburn
April 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 8:00am on Tuesday, repeating until April 16, 2019
How can we find ease, peace and emotional stability in the midst of daily life? In The Four Foundations of Mindfulness, the Buddha gives very clear instructions. He calls this the direct path for overcoming grief and sorrow, for ending suffering and anxiety, for realizing nirvana. This class offers an overview of this essential teaching and introduces specific practices that take us deeper into an understanding of Mindfulness as the path to liberation.
This class is appropriate for both newcomers and experienced practitioners. After the series conclusion, a weekly follow-up meeting is offered at no cost to answer questions and help you maintain a regular practice.
There is a suggested donation of $60, which covers all four meetings. This is a suggested donation, and participants are free to offer any amount.
