Fascia resists over-stretching and acts like an anatomical emergency break, so fascial restrictions can pull the body out of its normal alignment, compressing joints surfaces and bulging disks, resulting in pain, loss of motion and weakness.
Join Andrea to learn how following fascial trails can lower risk for developing injuries, and lessen unconscious destructive movement patterns that may be irritating your fascia.
Andrea will draw on her training in many styles of Hatha yoga (Sivananda, Kripalu, Iyengar, and Introductary Svaroopa) to give you a multitude of options for fascial treatment and personal growth, while also helping you work towards softening and lengthening your fascia to increase your range of motion, and improving your nervous system functions while building total body awareness and higher consciousness.
