Postpartum Yoga Workshop with Rebecca Simmons

Designed for new moms to participate in a full spectrum yoga practice and address postpartum needs. Take some time for yourself, gather and share your experiences with others. Discover how yoga can help you feel mentally grounded and stronger in these days when everything seems new and unfamiliar. The workshop will focus on alignment with attention towards regaining physical stamina, rediscovering your pelvic floor and safely strengthening your core after birth. Honoring the days of being a tired new mom, we will also incorporate blissful restorative poses to release stiff shoulders after hours of holding new babies.
Please allow 6 weeks following a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks after a cesarean birth, along with your primary care provider’s approval, before registering.
Nursing infants unable to be away from their mothers for the duration of the workshop are welcome in class. Options for these arrangements are definitely available. Just ask!
