You do no work: simply sign up and come to the studio ready to sit and lie supported by cushions and blankets. No phones, no children who need your attention, no house or work projects, it is a break for YOU.
Restorative poses can help counteract the effects of ongoing stress. Various positions gently release tension from muscles, lower your heart rate, give your nervous system permission to stop constantly reacting, and slow down to breathe. Relax. Be.
This workshop offers complete instruction in gentle restorative poses, as well as:
- Yoga poses for stress management and relaxation
- Gentle poses that enhance the stillness of the mind
- All props will be supplied

Sandra is RYT200 certified from our excellent Glowing Body Teacher Training program with Cindy Dollar in 2013/2014, received her Relax and Renew® (Restorative Yoga) certification from Judith Hanson Lasater, PHD, PT in 2016 and is working to complete her Relax and Renew® Level II certification. With a passion for poses that bring balance to everyday life, she is a forever student of yoga. Beginning her practice in 2009 to heal an injury and a need for a new challenge, slowly she found yoga inspired a transformation of her life. After practicing for years, she wanted to learn more about yoga and deepen her personal practice. Whether you are a beginner or are advancing in your personal yoga practice, she is offering yoga classes so that others can experience the quieting of the mind and the rest to the body. She offers classes and workshops, so others can experience yoga.
