Mysore-style class is the traditional method of practicing Ashtanga vinyasa yoga and is named for the South Indian city where the practice originated under the direction of Sri K. Pattahbi Jois. This unique style of class is self led, with a qualified instructor available for guidance and assistance. Each student learns the sequence of poses and practices at his or her own pace.
