Fascia 101: It’s All Connected
Sunday, June 10th, 9:00am-12:00pm
Discover your anatomical architecture! Explore the fascial system of the body and gain insights for supporting the health of your connective tissue through yoga and other movement practices. Learn self-treatment techniques to release areas of restriction and holding.
Anatomy of Breath
Sunday, July 15th, 9:00am-12:00pm
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up and the last thing you do before bed? You breathe! But what happens when you breathe and why should you care? The breath is closely tied to the nervous system and the way we breathe can influence the way we feel. Learning about the breath brings awareness and embodiment. In this workshop, we’ll uncover the biomechanics of breathing, practice exercises for breath awareness, and learn self-treatment techniques that give you plenty of room to breathe.
Sunday, August 12th, 9:00am-12:00pm
Are your hamstrings really getting longer as you reach for your toes? New science on stretching says probably not. Learn what’s actually going on when you stretch and gain tips for increasing mobility in new ways.
$40 per session
Jen is a Continuing Education Provider through Yoga Alliance. Yoga teachers can receive three continuing education hours for their participation in each workshop.
